# Restricted Countries

> Countries and regions where the Crossmint Onramp is not available

The Crossmint Onramp is available in most countries worldwide. However, due to regulatory requirements, certain countries and regions are restricted.

## Restricted Countries

The following countries are **not supported** for onramp transactions:

## How Restrictions Work

* **IP-based blocking** — users connecting from restricted regions will not be able to initiate onramp transactions.
* **KYC-based blocking** — users whose identity documents indicate residence in a restricted country will be blocked during the KYC verification process.
* **Sanctions screening** — all users are screened against international sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN) as part of the compliance process.

## State-Level Restrictions (United States)
