# Localization

> Customize the language and currency shown in checkout and on receipts

>
> * Only `usd` is supported for credit and debit card checkouts, so set `payment.currency` to `usd`
> * Localization is not supported for stablecoins. While `payment.crypto.defaultCurrency` can be set to `usdc` or other supported tokens, localized stablecoins like `eurc` are not available

## Adjust the Language and Currency

> Use the `locale` property for the checkout language and `payment.fiat.defaultCurrency` for the payment currency:

> Pass `locale` on the order — it sets the language of the buyer's email receipt. Only `usd` is supported for card payments:
